Annie Wersching, who appeared in ‘Timeless,’ ‘Star Trek,’ and ’24,’ has passed away.

At the age of 45, Annie Wersching passed away. She was most recognized for her work on the television series Bosch, Star Trek: Picard, Timeless, and 24.

2020, according to Deadline, saw Wersching receive a cancer diagnosis. When contacted following Deadline’s initial news report, her representative declined to comment, stating that he had “nothing else to contribute.”

“A vast void currently pierces this family’s soul,” the actress’s husband, Stephen Full, told Deadline. She did, however, leave us with the means. She found wonder in the most mundane of circumstances. She could dance without any music. “Go find it,” she said, demonstrating that adventure does not always find you. It’s all over now. And we’ll find it.”

“She would yell “Bye!” until we were out of sight and into the world as I drove our boys, the genuine loves of her life, down the curving road and street,” Full continued. I can still hear it ringing. Goodbye, my friend. “I adore you, little family…”

Wersching, a St. Louis native, started her career in movies and TV shows like Star Trek: Enterprise, Charmed, and Supernatural before securing a recurring role as Renee Walker in the series 24.

Before moving on to a number of other television projects during her career, including a lead part as Julia Brasher in Amazon Studios’ Bosch, she was a cast member of 24 for two seasons. The Last of Us, a 2013 PlayStation classic that later served as the basis for a popular HBO series of the same name, included motion capture and voice work by Wersching. She most recently appeared as the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard.

Her Timeless co-star, Abigail Spencer, shared a heartfelt yet depressing Instagram message about a friend.

“My dear @anniewersching,” she began her caption. “The ideal scene partner. My eternal arch-enemy, with whom we couldn’t keep a straight face. As a result, our community has suffered a tragic loss. She laid the groundwork for many of your and our favorite shows. The person who called. If you ever needed someone to kick you in the behind, elevate a plot, or be your lifeline, call Annie. This is extremely difficult. Steve, I’m at a loss for words. I’m sending you and the boys my love and support.”

The Last of Us video game developer Naughty Dog’s co-president Neil Druckmann paid Wersching tribute on Twitter.,” he wrote. “A wonderful artist and person passed away recently. My heart is shattered. Her family is in our thoughts.”
