Christina Hall speaks out after divorce, calls estranged husband an ‘insecure man with a large ego’

Christina Hall refuses to stay silent after news of her divorce from Joshua Hall.

“Over here waiting for the typical Hired PR rep speech of ‘how I was blind-sided and how I’m working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch,” the HGTV star wrote in a July 25 Instagram Story, “Meanwhile, I’m over here not as nice and quiet as I used to be.”

“I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve / what they did NOT work for should be ashamed. An insecure man with a large ego can sure try to derail you — but ‘still I rise,’” she continued.

The 41-year-old mother of three added “divorces do not happen overnight,” saying, “there is always a breaking point. This one is personal.”

Multiple media outlets reported the former couple filed for divorce after nearly three years of marriage on July 16. While both agreed to cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split, Christina listed their date of separation as July 7, and Josh listed July 8 as their date of separation.

Christina’s statement comes days after she accused Josh of transferring $35,000 of her money into his personal bank account.

According to court documents obtained by ET, Josh transferred $35,000 of Christina’s “separate property rental income” into his own account. She alleges that Josh contacted her property manager on July 8 one day after they separated, asking if the June payments could be sent to another account.

Christina, who said she had no contact with Josh on July 8, said the property manager went through with the request “believing I had authorized the change of accounts and asked for account details and Josh provided his own Wells Fargo Bank account.”

“I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties.”
